3. Govemors for gas J78R

Governors for gas J78R

  • Pressure regulators for gaseous media for installation in all types of gas appliances
  • Inlet pressure compensation diaphragm in J78R ensures high control accuracy
  • Breather line is not required
  • EC type-tested and certified

For controlling the pressure of the gas or air supply to gas burners and gas appliances. An optional connection for pilot gas lines or pressure test points is available for the inlet
of the J78R.

The pressure regulators comply with the requirements of EN 88, Class A, Group 2.

4.

Governors for gas GDJ

  • All-purpose pressure regulator for gaseous media
  • High control accuracy
  • Safety diaphragm saves laying a breather line
  • Suitable for biologically produced methane
  • EC type-tested and certified

Application

To control gas and air inlet pressure for gas burners and appliances in industry and for heating purposes.

The regulators comply with the requirements of EN 88 class A, group 2 and are certified in accordance with Directive 90/396/EEC (Gas Appliances Directive).

5. govermors for gas GDJ

Governors for gas VGBF

  • Pressure regulator for gaseous media,to be fitted to all types of gas consuming appliances
  • EC type-tested and certified
  • Design incorporating inlet pressure compensation diaphragm ensures high control accuracy
  • Optimum dimensioning allows high throughput
  • A purge line is not required
  • VGBF 05 with internal feedback facilitates installation
6. safety overpressure slam shut valve JSAV

Safety Overpressure Slam Shut Valves JSAV

  • For excess pressure
  • Broad adjusting range for the response pressure
  • Low pressure loss
  • Purge pipe is not required
  • EC type-tested and certified design

Application

For the protection of all valves connected downstream of a gas governor against too high a pressure.

The gas supply is shut off in the case of unfavourable operating conditions.

A safety shut-off valve is prescribed in accordance with EN 746–2 for all gas governing installations on which the valves downstream of the gas governor are not resistant to the upstream pressure.

7. safety relief valve VSBV

Safety Relief Valve VSBV

  • For gaseous media
  • Inlet pressure range up to 4 bar
  • Opening pressure adjustable 20 – 500 mbar
  • EC type-tested and certified design
  • Free of nonferrous metal

Application

The safety relief valve has been designed:
– to reduce temporary pressure surges in the controlled system, especially upstream of burners, in order to avoid accidental operation of the safety shut-off valve JSAV.
– to avoid a sudden pressure increase in the case of gas leakages due to the gas governors not closing tightly.

Specified for all gas pressure regulating plant with inlet pressures > 100 mbar, in conjunction with a JSAV acc. to the codes of pratice G 491. Suitable for air, technical combustion gas acc. to the DVGW G 260/I, biogas and gas produced at rubbish tips.

8. speed and relief governors VAR

Speed and Relief Governors VAR

  • Circulation pressure control and relief regulator for gaseous media in all types of gas appliances
  • High flow rate due to optimal dimensioning
  • No purge line required
  • Internal bypass

Application

Relief regulator VAR is suitable for maintaining constant pressures in gas appliances or for relieving brief pressure surges in control systems. By using the VAR, inadmissibly high pressures in vessels can be prevented.

Compressors and fans generate different outlet pressures in the case of different capacity demands. These fluctuations can be controlled by discharging a bypass flow from the outlet to the inlet of the compressor unit.

Downstream consumers thus dispose of constant pressure over the entire capacity range.

9. air (gas) ratio controls GIK

Air/Gas Ratio Controls GIK

  • For maintaining a constant gas-air mixture
  • For continuous and step-by-step burner control
  • High regulating precision
  • Wide regulating range
  • Maintenance-free
  • EC type-tested and certified

Application

The air/gas ratio controls GIK serve to maintain a constant air-gas ratio and to regulate the gas pressure upstream of gas burners on installations without preheated combustion air.

GIK for continuous control (Fig. 5), GIK..B with bypass for high/low/off control (Fig. 6). Zero-pressure regulation with conversion kit (Fig. 7).

EN 746-2 demands that a burner always be ignited with a stable gas-air mixture. This requirement can be met with the aid of the air/gas ratio control.

EC type-tested and certified to the Gas Appliances Directive (90/396/EEC).

gikh

Variable Air/Gas Ratio Controls GIKH

  • Maintaining a constant gas/air mixture on a plant using pre-heated air
  • Adjustment of the gas flow to the air flow which changes when heating the combustion air
  • Air/gas ratio control with differential pressure metering assembly for the control pressure
  • Can also be used if the gas pressure is below the air pressure
  • High regulating precision
  • Large regulating range
  • With inlet pressure compensation diaphragm
  • Maintenance-free
  • EC type-tested and certified

Application

The air/gas ratio controls maintain a constant air/gas ratio and, at the same time, regulate the gas pressure at plant using recuperative pre-heated air.

When changing the burner capacity and with changing temperture of the combustion air the gas pressure has to be re-adjusted ensuring a constant ratio (gas to cold air)
